Mr J. Lynch
Mr Lynch is a Senior Leader in the College. He is also the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator and is in charge of Pastoral Care within the school. Along with these roles Mr Lynch teaches Irish and mathematics.

Mrs Hughes is the Senior Leader with responsibility for Curriculum and Raising standards and High Achievers Co-ordinator.
She is a qualified Mathematics teacher with over 12 years of experience. Mrs Hughes delivers Mathematics across all year groups as well as High Achievers in our school and in some of our feeder Primary Schools.

Mrs Brenda Leathem is a member of our school Senior Leadership Team. As part of this role she is the Designated Teacher in charge of Child Protection in St John the Baptist’s College. Any disclosures made about a child in our care will be referred to her. She is also the Nurture Co-ordinator in our school. Primary School pupils may also recognise her as the St John the Baptist’s College Primary School Liaison Officer.
As the Head of Religious Education she is involved in ensuring that the Core Syllabus for R.E. is delivered to our pupils, and that liturgy is included in our school life. She also teaches Geography at KS3.

Mr Rath has many roles within the school. He is the Head of Department in PE. Mr Rath is also the SIMS and Data Manager within the college. He is currently the Health and Safety Officer. Along with these roles he is an active member of the Safeguarding Team and one of our Senior Leaders. He is the Staff Representative on the Board of Governors.

Mr. Mc Conville is the lead teacher in the Learning Support Centre. He has been a teacher in the school for almost 23 years. He teaches French and Physical Education to mainstream classes. He is also pivotal in the delivery of the Gaelic games programme. He is the person in charge of managing staff cover.

Mrs Carolan is Head of Science in the College. This year she has also been appointed as Head of Careers & Transition. Along with these roles she is also the Eco-schools Co-ordinator.

Mrs R. Mc Keever
Mrs Mc Keever is the Community Links and Partnerships Co-ordinator within the school. She is also the Health and Well-being Co-ordinator for staff and pupils. She teaches Physical Education and Home Economics.

Miss Magee is Literacy Coordinator with the school. She has 8 years experience teaching English, English Literature and Media Studies at KS3, GCSE and A Level.

Mrs Towe is the Director of ICT and Enterprise within the college. She teaches ICT and English. She is also responsible for the Enterprise and Mini-companies within the school.

Mr Mc Sherry is the Head of department for Technology. He also teaches the newly introduced Horticulture curriculum at Key Stage 3 and Mathematics.
Mrs L. Swain
Mrs L. Swain
Mrs. Swain is a Nurture Teacher based in our Nurture Centre. As a BACP registered Integrative Counsellor, Mrs. Swain plays a vital role in our Pastoral Team. She provides mentoring and additional counselling for students when required supplementing the counselling provision in school by Familyworks.
She also teaches Learning for Life and Work through CoPE level 2 allowing our Gifted and Talented students to gain a GCSE equivalency of a grade B by the end of year 10.
Mrs. Swain is also responsible for updating our Facebook page together with other Public Relations duties.

Mrs Mc Gibbon has taught in the school for many years and has gained a wealth of experience working with the children in our Learning Support Centre. She now teaches Art at Key Stage 3.

Mr Douglas is the Music and Drama Co-ordinator in the school. He teaches Music, Drama and ICT across all year groups. Mr Douglas is also responsible for the School Choir, Community Choir, Traditional Group and Drama Society.

Miss Rath is the new Junior Learning Support Teacher and is also responsible for taking the Senior Support class for Mathematics. She has a key interest in working alongside pupils with Special Educational Needs. She also teaches Art and is working in the Nurture Centre.
Miss D. Sharkey

Miss Sharkey is the literacy and numeracy support teacher. She is a maths graduate from QUB. Miss Sharkey works with smaller groups of pupils to provide one to one help. Miss Sharkey is also involved with numeracy games and activities at lunch time available to all pupils.

Mrs Mc Sorley is the school's Clerical Officer. She is also the ICT Technician.

Deirdre has over 20 years experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs within our Learning Support Centre.

Aine is a Classroom Assistant with many years experience. She has worked in mainstream for many years and is now working with our junior Learning Support pupils.

Elsa is a Classroom Assistant , she provides support to all students especially those who speak Portuguese as their first language. Elsa works with small groups to enhance learning experiences and to build the self-confidence of some of our newcomer students.

Michael has joined the school recently as a Classroom Assistant. He is a past pupil and also contributes to the life of the school through coaching and mentoring.
