Today has definitely been a very memorable occasion for the SJBC family. We were delighted to welcome the one and only “Sam Maguire Cup” into the college. Staff, pupils, our Chaplain Fr Clarke and some governors had the opportunity to lift the much coveted trophy.
The presence of Barry McCambridge and Oisin Conarty (both of whom have been nominated for awards) made the occasion even more special.
Before the cup left to go over to our neighbours in SJB PS, some of our pupils brought “Sam” into Rosemount Nursing Home and there was much excitement from residents and staff there also.
