Mindfulness at Nurture

This week at Nurture, pupils took part in a Mindfulness session of body scanning, where moment to moment attention is brought to differed parts of the body. By doing this, pupils were learning how to notice and tame tension held in major muscle groups.
Benefits of mindfulness include improvements in: concentration, emotional regulation, academic performance and a greater sense of calmness and wellbeing.
