Fundraising for Southern Area Hospice

Over the year, we have been fundraising for Southern Area Hospice at SJBC. In the recent Ulster Carpets charity challenge, our school decided to select Southern Area Hospice as one of three chosen charities. Today, 10C alongside with Mrs Murray, Paula, Miss Trainor and Miss Cushnahan presented Bernie from Southern Area Hospice with a cheque of £1,300 (£500 from Ulster Carpets Challenge and £800 from school fundraising activities) Well done to 10C who researched the charity, met with the fundraising team at the hospice and who presented in front of a panel at Ulster Carpets. We are very proud of our SJBC community for the generous donations for fundraising this year
