A lot of you may already be aware of the Care for Caolan Appeal which is raising money for a young footballer, Caolan Finnegan from Crossmaglen who was diagnosed with a brain tumor last year and who is currently having to travel to Germany to receive lifesaving treatment. As you can imagine, this is a very traumatic time for Caolan and the entire Finnegan family and is made worse by the fact that the treatment comes at a considerable cost. In order to support the fundraising effort, the Armagh GAA Health + Well-Being Committee is planning to team up with schools in Armagh to hold a GAA jersey day.
We in the college are going to support this effort and run our fundraising Jersey Day on Friday 7th June.
We are asking pupils to donate £1 and wear a jersey in support. All donations are greatly appreciated.
