SJBC competed in the annual year 8 Vista Netball tournament where they emerged victorious. Having topped the group stages SJBC qualified for the semi finals which went to extra time where the 'golden ball' rule applied. SJBC scored the winning goal to proceed onto the final. After a nail biting contest against Clounagh Junior High School SJBC won by a score line of 2-1 and Shauna Carmichael was named player of the tournament. An unbeaten SJBC team demonstrated their hard work and dedication to win this tournament for the first time in SJBC history.
